Cleaning and caring for your sofa cushions
Over time, your sofa cushions will naturally compress to some degree from regular, everyday use. Keep them looking their best for longer with these maintenance guidelines.
– Position your furniture away from heat and sunlight which can cause colour fading and surface degradation
– Rotate and flip your sofa cushions at least once a month and make sure you sit on every seat regularly to prevent uneven wear
– If your sofa has fibre filled cushions, plump them at least once a week to maintain their softness and full appearance. You may need to unzip the cushion to plump the filling
– Cushions with foam wrapped pocket springs don't require any plumping, however, we recommend that you flip or rotate them every month to even out the wear
– Creasing in seats and back cushions may appear over time - this is a characteristic of the material and not a fault
– Use a bobble remover to even out any surface areas that have bobbles. It is common for fabric sofa cushions to have bobbles from everyday use - this is not a defect nor does it affect the durability of the furniture
– Be careful with sharp objects such as studs, buckles, jewellery, heels, toys or a pet's claws on your sofa cushions as they can cause scratches or tears
– If you notice a snag, don't pull it - instead, trim it off with scissors
– Always follow the care instructions that came with your furniture
